No, it is not too cold to swim with dolphins in Panama City Beach. The water temperature varies from the 60’s-70’s in March and April to the whopping high 80″s in August and September. If you want to do our 4-Hour Dolphin Swim Tour at Shell Island in March or April and still be toasty in the water, just wear a wetsuit. No later than March third, we had a large group from Ohio book our Dolphin Swim Tour for 9 people. Look at the photo below. The biggest smiles are on the faces of those who were renting a wetsuit. The others had a fantastic time swimming with dolphins, but they were back on the boat after a few minutes LOL.
